The City of Nacogdoches Human Resources Department (HR) strives to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. Our mission is to attract, hire, and retain qualified employees in a diversified workplace. The HR Department monitors compliance with Federal and State laws and City policies regarding Human Resource issues. The HR Department works as a partner with management staff providing advice, support, and recommendations to effectively utilize and manage the City's employee workforce. The HR Department administers the employee benefits program, worker's compensation, employee compensation/classification, employee relations, recognition programs, training and policy development.
